Method Films was the name of my first company…which consisted solely of myself and some occasional freelance producing jobs. I always liked the name because I thought that the word ‘Method’ made it seem like I knew what I was doing. Well, I barely knew what I was doing then….and now, I certainly don’t know.

After Central Planning was born over 10 years ago, this web site became dormant ….just a blank page. Since it only cost me five bucks a year to keep the domain name, I did.

Now, I’ve repurposed methodfilms.com as a blog – in hopes that it can help me keep my friends and family up to date with what’s going on with me, my health, and my life. Just click anywhere it says blog.

I appreciate all of you. In the event that I don’t do a good job keeping this site up-to-date, you can always feel free to contact myself or a member of my family directly.

If you’re here, you are probably a friend, family member, or someone I’ve worked with who is curious about what’s up with me. First and foremost, I want to let you know you are always welcome to contact me directly if you have any questions or want to see what’s up. I’m pretty easy to reach.

That said, I hope this page is a good way to keep you all updated on my health and any developments on that front. I may post here often, or perhaps barely at all. We’ll see! If I do manage to keep this site updated, I would guess that my writing has equal chances of either being short and sweet, or wild and rambling. I love to write, and I’ve potentially got a bit of time on my hands these days + something to write about, so that could be a dangerous combination…Proceed at your own discretion and thank you for all of the support!

Surgery #2, this Friday Dec. 15, Time TBD.

Last week was a whirlwind trying to figure out the logistics for getting this new tumor removed. We were mostly worried about potential scheduling problems because of the upcoming holidays-imagining that neurosurgeons surely take days off during this time of year like everyone else. There were a few snafus with inter-hospital communication about my case, …

A Setback.

The meeting this past Thursday (11/30) to go over my MRI results did not go as I’d hoped. It looks like I have a new tumor. The new tumor is not located in the same spot as the one that was removed back in July, but it is on the same side of my brain …
